We are excited to announce that Ashley Gonzalez has joined Cat5 Resources as our new Safety, Vendor, and Government Relations Manager. Ashley brings a wealth of experience in emergency communications, stakeholder engagement, and strategic planning, having worked with FEMA, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), and Booz Allen Hamilton to support federal, state, and local agencies across the nation. In her new role, Ashley will be responsible for overseeing safety initiatives, managing vendor relationships, and strengthening government relations to further Cat5 Resources’ mission of delivering reliable critical infrastructure resiliency solutions.
A Proven Track Record in Emergency Management
Ashley’s career spans more than a decade of leadership in emergency communications and disaster preparedness, including:
- Supporting emergency communications planning for national-level events such as the Super Bowl, the FIFA World Cup, and disaster response operations across the U.S. and Pacific territories.
- Leading multi-agency coordination efforts to enhance continuity of operations (COOP), disaster communications planning, and emergency response systems.
- Driving strategic initiatives and training programs to improve interoperability among federal, state, local, and tribal partners.
Her work has directly contributed to advancing national emergency communications policy and operational readiness, ensuring first responders and government agencies can stay connected when it matters most.
