The job of Civil Technician is established for the purposes of providing Civil services with specific responsibility for identifying repair and/or replacement needs of generators and other civil components on location. The employee must have the following knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform daily tasks.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE AND CAPABILITIES:
- Electrical Knowledge Preferred
- General Construction
- Pouring concrete
- Digging trenches
- Pulling trailers
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Specific skill-based competencies required to satisfactorily perform the functions of the position include: operating equipment used in the installation and preparing and maintaining accurate records in company’s computer system
- Must be able to work under limited supervision using standardized practices and/or methods
- Job-related experience with increasing levels of responsibility is desired
- Valid Driver’s License required, CDL is a plus
REQUIREMENTS KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES (KSA’S):
- Must be at least 25 years old.
- Possess a working knowledge of the above-titled position and how it relates to the overall business and its’ objectives
- Must conform to company policies and procedures and meet company goals and objectives as well as protect the company assets and interests
- Must be able to pass and maintain drug and alcohol testing requirements
- Must be dependable and able to work independently
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds and able to bend and twist several times a day
- Must have the ability to work flexible hours, days, travel and stay overnight
- Ability to maintain a professional appearance, promote and maintain a clean, neat and safe work environment
- Prior electrical experience is preferred but not required
