Cat5 Resources Welcomes Richard Zinno, Chief Operating Officer

Cat5 Resources, LLC is very pleased to introduce our new Chief Operating Officer, Richard Zinno. Richard is responsible for daily operations and strategic planning for the company’s profit centers. As COO, Richard is tasked with meshing strategy with reality, aligning people with goals, implementing efficiencies and executing Cat5 Resources’ plans to exceed the expectations promised to customers.

Richard has worked in the Telecom, Business Continuity and Emergency Preparedness Industries since 2001 in both the corporate and governmental spheres.

Prior to joining Cat5 Resources, Richard worked at Generac Power Systems, where he managed the Global Enterprise Solutions Telecom business. Richard spent 11 years at Sprint Corporation, where he last served as Manager of Network Service Assurance. During his tenure at Sprint, Richard was responsible for leading response coordination efforts for natural disasters from 2004-2012. Richard later became responsible for Sprint’s Network Reliability, Network Risk Management and Business Continuity divisions. In addition, Richard was in charge of Sprint’s multi-million dollar RAN and Core Network Maintenance program and budget. Richard is a Certified Business Continuity Planning Professional and regular speaker at industry symposiums focused on Telecom, Backup Power, Business Continuity and Emergency Preparedness.
